Bob Engbloom On The Cover Of Lexpert: Top Deals And Cases
Bob Engbloom, Partner in Macleod Dixon's Calgary office is one of five lawyers appearing on the cover of Lexpert's January issue - Top Deals and Cases: Suncor and More. This issue features the Petro-Canada / Suncor merger as the Top Corporate Deal of 2009.Macleod Dixon represented Petro-Canada in the merger which, at the time it was announced, was the sixth-largest Canada-targeted transaction on record, according to Dealogic.
"When you think of this country, we are resource-based, which is our biggest resource" says Bob. "Having a Canadian champion that can be a leader in developing Canadian resources is hugely significant. That, in my mind, dwarfs all the other issues.
